Controversial Studies, Page 1

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;” Heb. 12:2. There are so many “versions” and interpretations of the Bible and what it says, maybe we need to look unto Jesus for our answers, He is the author. He will speak to each and everyone that calls upon Him, and He will lead you into all truths because that is the only way we can worship Him, “God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

The Bible is like a puzzle, we must find each scripture that applies to the study in order to see the whole picture. But it comes back to us, it is our responsibility to search for the truth, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life Searching and studying is the only way to find the truth, “the spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth.” John 16:13. The Lord will continue to guide you as long as you are willing to follow Him. At the same time if you refuse His words, He will let you believe a lie, “because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved, and for this cause God shall send them strong delusions, that they should believe a lie;” 2 Thess. 2:10-11.

We live in a world with many doctrines and beliefs, but the Bible continually speaks of the true word of God. We must be careful what we choose to believe, “study to shew thyself approved unto God…” 2 Timothy 2:15, because it has to meet the approval of God. There is only one way into God’s Kingdom, His way. “I am the way, the truth, and the life;” John 14:6. Believe in Jesus, His words, live it, and He’ll be returning for you.
